The Malawi National Examination Board (MANEB) in conjunction with Ministry of Education Science and Technology (MoEST) has released this years Primary School Leaving Certificate of Education (PLLCE) and Junior Certificate of Education (JCE) examination results.

The results come barely three weeks ahead of the opening of the 2024/2025 education calendar year.

Announcing the 2024 PSLCE results, Maneb Executive Director, proff. Dorothy Nampota said out of 252, 668 candidates who sat for the exams, 217,708 have passed representing 86.16% out of which 106,907 are females and 110, 801 are males with 82.92% and 89.54% respectively.

During her address Minister of Education Madalitso Kambauwa Wirima hailed MANEB for properly managing this year’s exams which the Minister said were leakage free.

About 262,216 candidates sat for PSLCE while 163,950 sat for JCE.
