President Dr Lazarus Chakwera and the First Lady Madam Monica Chakwera have expressed their deep sorrow over the tragic loss of nine lives in a road accident at Thekerani in Thyolo District.

The accident, which occurred yesterday’s morning on 18 August 2024, also left many others injured.

In a statement, the President offered heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and wished a swift recovery to those injured.

Dr Chakwera has assured the affected families of his prayers and unwavering support during this difficult time.
