Former Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) Justice Jane Ansah retired has joined the opposition Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) ahead of the 2025 polls.
Ansah confirmed of her move to DPP on Sunday during the official opening of the DPP elective conference presided over by former President Peter Mutharika.
Speaking in an interview with the press Ansah said she has joined DPP because the manifesto of the party resonate well with her vision.
She also announced that she will be contesting as Member of Parliament in the 2025 polls in Ntcheu.
Ansah was also captured declaring her interest for an MP post to Mutharika.
