Mbayani based businessman identified as Duncan Kainga, popularly known as Kiddy has been found dead this morning near Mbayani River, a stone throw to the market.
His cousin Councillor Leonard Chimbanga of the opposition Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) has confirmed of the development in a statement posted on his official facebook page.
“My dear cousin Mr Duncan Kainga AKA kiddy of Mbayani,Blantyre was found dead this morning dumped in the Mbayani river near the market where he plies his second hand clothes business.
“He had head wounds. We are trusting the police to help us. We are devastated,” wrote Chimbanga.
The police are yet to comment on the matter.
