Police in the country have warned people about the act of committing sexual acts in a car, reminding them that doing so is a crime and that this act puts people’s safety at risk.
The sentiment has been made by Beatrice Mikuwa Spokesperson for South-West Region Police, saying police have been receiving receiving many cases where people have been assaulted while others have been robbed and beaten.
According to Mikuwa, the cases have been in Blantyre in areas like Soche, Bangwe, Manase and Stella Maris.
Mikuwa has also said that apart from the fact that this act of having sexual intercourse in car is criminal, criminals have also taken advantage of the opportunity to attack people who are in parked cars.
“We are warning that anyone found committing this act in a car will be arrested and will appear in court,” said Mikuwa.
