The South African Police Service (SAPS) have uncovered a drug lab estimated to be worth R80 million in the affluent suburb of Douglasdale near Fourways, Johannesburg.
Reports indicate that approximately R10 million worth of mandrax tablets have been confiscated during the raid.
Senior provincial police officials, including the Provincial Commissioner, Lt Gen Tommy Mthombeni, are currently onsite overseeing the operation.
