Kasungu Police spokesperson Joseph Kachikho has confirmed a serious accident this morning on the Kasungu-Lilongwe M1 road, resulting in three deaths and multiple injuries.
The crash occurred at Bwanali when a Toyota Sienta lost control after attempting to overtake another vehicle.
Emergency services quickly responded, and the injured were taken to local hospitals.
The police have since rushed to the scene
