Information reaching this publication indicates that unknown thieves have broken into a Roman Catholic church under St. Bernadette Chibabvi Parish in Mzuzu Diocese and went way with undisclosed amount of money meant for Radio Maria Malawi.
As this was not enough, the unknown thieves also invaded the office of the Catechist and went away with money amounting to MK100, 000 and the church mixer.
The thieves who were heavily armed, according to source also damaged a door at the church’s clerk office before damaging property in a room where Catholic priest uses as a dressing room.
The case has since been reported to Mzuzu Police, according to a statement made available to this publication.
