Public Affairs Committee (PAC) on Monday met Democratic Progressive Party, (DPP) Presidential torch bearer Peter Mutharika in a last meeting with some Presidential hopefuls come May 20.

PAC has conducted a series of meetings with Presidential aspirants where the grouping has been asking them to fulfill their pledges once elected into government.

Mutharika said after the meeting that the meeting had provided a platform for the party to discuss policies and programs that can lead to the development of the nation.

“This meeting was very useful to us, since we owe it to the people of Malawi to come up with policies and programs that are good for the nation,” said Mutharika.

He further said as a party they have agreed to whatever PAC brought forward.

When asked for comment ,PAC chairperson Rev Dr Felix Chingota refused to disclose what the Party President had agreed to.
