General Secretary of the CCAP Synod of Livingstonia Reverend William Tembo has refuted reports that he has stepped down.
It comes after a heated General Assembly meeting at Loudon Mission in Mzimba where Tembo shed tears following remarks by new Moderator, Reverend Jailos Kamisa.
Kamisa insinuated that Tembo was acting without the blessing of the moderator’s office, and that he was political in his dealings.
But Tembo has told us that “I don’t know what made the Moderator to say that. I have not resigned, and I will not resign.”
