The opposition Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) is on September 21, 2024 scheduled to hold a mega rally at Katoto Freedom Park in Mzuzu ahead of the 2025 polls.
Former President Peter Mutharika who is also DPP torchbearer is scheduled to be the guest of honor at the rally which has been organized by DPP Vice President for the North Jappie Mhango.
This will be the first rally for Mutharika since losing the fresh Presidential polls in 2020.
Mutharika has re-lunched his come back bide with a theme: “A Return To A Proven Leadership.”
He has since warned President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera to start packing his belongings from State House, saying he will lose the 2025 polls.
