Speaking after the visit Temwa Chilenga, the founder hailed the Speaker for sponsoring the kids trip to Parliament.
“The speaker of parliament Honourable Catherine Gotani Hara offered some children a trip to parliament. We are so excited to visit parliament and our aim was just to visit but to our surprise we met the speaker, some ministers, deputy ministers and other members of parliament.
“We are really grateful for this because we have learnt so much and we have been inspired. The speaker, ministers and other members of parliament have also donated money to the children and their teachers. We are so excited and grateful because we didn’t expect this. Thank you so much Madam speaker and honourable members of parliament for giving us a chance to interact with you and thank you for all the donations,” said Chilenga.
Zoe Foundation which is located in Lilongwe rural is owned by Temwani Chilenga, a teacher at Chambu Primary School in the capital.
