The opposition Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) is this coming Saturday scheduled to hold a mega rally at Katoto Ground in the ever green city of Mzuzu.
Former President Peter Mutharika who is also DPP torchbearer in the forthcoming 2025 polls is scheduled to grace the rally.
The rally in Mzuzu will come barely two weeks after the party fired the party’s Director of Elections Gladys Ganda, Member of Parliament for Nsanje Lalanje Constituency.
DPP Vice President for the North Jappie Mhango, Christopher Mzomera Ngwira and the party’s treasurer general Edgar Tembo are also scheduled to attend the rally.
Mutharika will face the incumbent President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera and Peoples party (PP) leader Dr. Joyce Banda at the polls next year.
