Government through the Department of Climate Change & Meteorological Services has indicated that from today until Tuesday, September 24, people should expect windy, cloudy, and occasional light rain in some areas.

According to the forecast, this is due to a cold and moist air mass moving in from the southeast.

From Wednesday to Sunday, September 29, the weather is expected to shift to sunny, dry, and significantly hotter conditions.

A document released by the meteorological office explains that this change will be due to warmer winds coming from the northeast.

Strong southerly winds are expected to continue blowing at speeds of over 50 km/h until Tuesday.

However, by Wednesday, lake winds will pick up in some parts of the country, with occasional gusts expected.

Meanwhile, Blantyre and other surrounding areas are now experiencing bad wealth full of fogs and rains in some parts of Mulanje district.
