Police at Kawale in Lilongwe have arrested two men, on suspicion of burglarising the home of a police officer in Area 24.
The duo have been identified as Frank Kamboni, 37, and Jackson Macheso, 35, is believed to have committed the crimes on two occasions on June 10 and September 9.
Among the stolen items were a Redmi Note 12 smartphone, a Lenovo laptop, prescription eyeglasses, and clothing.
According to Kawale Police spokesperson Precious Mabvuto Phiri, the suspects are thought to have used sleep-inducing drugs to incapacitate their victims during the robberies.
Investigations are ongoing as police work to bring the suspects to justice.
