Former Malawi Congress Party (MCP) Secretary General Eisenhower Mkaka has quashed rumours hovering on the social media claiming that he is on the verge of joining the newly formed Peoples Development Party (PDP) of Kondwani Nankhumwa.
The rumours went viral on social media following a post of an Eagle on his facebook page seen by this publication.
An eagle is the logo of the newly formed PDP party of Nankhumwa.
“Musavutike: I was born in MCP and I will die in MCP! This has nothing to do with any political move! Learn the principles of an eagle!,” wrote Mkaka.
Mkaka has been silent since losing the SG post to Minister of Local Government and Unity Richard Chimwendo Banda.
