The newly elected United Democratic Front (UDF) Atupele Muluzi has said the party will be on the ballot paper and win the 2025 polls.
Muluzi said this after being declared as UDF President at the ongoing part convention currently underway at Comesa Hall in Blantyre.
In his speech Muluzi said the party is confident of contesting in next year’s polls without any partnership with other political parties.
“Our strength lies in our unity. We will not speak of change, we will deliver it,” he said.
Muluzi went further to assure UDF supporters that he will campaign vigorously across the country ahead of September 16, 2025 polls.
The young Muluzi takes over from Liliani Patel who has been an interim President for over three years.
