Police at Jenda in Mzimba district, have arrested six individuals suspected of being involved in a series of thefts in the district, recovering various stolen items in the process.

Spokesperson for Jenda police station, Macfarlene Mseteka has confirmed the development as as said  the arrests followed an investigation carried out by Jenda police  yesterday on October 2, 2024, in various trading centres.

According to  Mseteka, the suspects will soon be taken to court to face theft charges as they are now in police custody

Mseteka also said that the arrested individuals were highly sought after by the police.
