Reports reaching this publication indicate that one woman has been killed and three others injured in the T/A Kachindamoto area of Dedza following a land dispute.
A local leader, Kabulika, stated that people from Kamphale village and Gule Wamkulu armed with weapons attacked individuals from his village while they were in the fields.
“This kind of violence has never happened in my area before. This is the first time. It’s frightening. The deceased woman leaves behind five children,” said Kabulika.
Currently, the police are investigating those responsible for the incident.
