Two women, Koketso Lekgoathi and Fezeka Ndlovu, have been murdered by their boyfriends in South Africa.
The lifeless body of 22-year-old Koketso was discovered in Diepkloof Zone 4, Johannesburg, where she allegedly suffered assault, strangulation, and beatings.
Her boyfriend, who initially reported that she died of poisoning, has been arrested and is set to appear in Orlando Magistrate’s Court on October 11, 2024, facing a murder charge.
Gauteng police spokesperson Lt-Col Mavela Masondo confirmed that Koketso was found dead by paramedics after her boyfriend claimed she might have ingested poison.

Community members have rallied for justice, marching to the Diepkloof police station in response to her death.

Tragically, Koketso leaves behind a young daughter. Meanwhile, Fezeka Ndlovu, a pharmacist, was allegedly murdered by her boyfriend, a police officer, at her home in Palm Ridge, Ekurhuleni, in September 2024.

It is reported that her 7-year-old daughter witnessed the brutal stabbing, which occurred after an argument broke out between Fezeka and her partner.

Fezeka was declared dead upon arrival at a nearby clinic after neighbors intervened during the attack.
