The National Oil Company of Malawi (NOCMA) has announced that the country is expected to receive approximately 2 million liters of diesel and petrol.
The company’s spokesperson, Raymond Likambale confirmed the development saying that the fuel, which is arriving from the Nacala port in Mozambique, will reach NOCMA’s Matindi depot in Blantyre tomorrow.
The arrival of this fuel is anticipated to alleviate the shortages that drivers are facing when trying to purchase fuel at the pump.
Currently, fuel shortages have forced long queues at fuel stations across the country.
