Brothers Hope and Ian Derrick Ngalande, known by their stage names Cizzle and Trappy Beats respectively, are gaining popularity in Malawi’s music scene with their latest release, ‘Cardio’.
The song, which blends Afrobeat and Amapiano, has become everyone’s favorite, for to its catchy rhythm and relatable lyrics that compare life’s hustle to a cardio workout.
Both musicians and audio producers, Cizzle and Trappy Beats have collaborated on several tracks before, but Cardio is proving to be their breakout hit.
To celebrate its success, the brothers has organized a music event dubbed the “Cardio Pop-Up Event”, set to take place in Zomba on October 25.
They will be joined by other local artists including Fadamoti, Mazani, Doe Cruger and may more artists promising a vibrant showcase of Malawi’s rising talent.
The upbeat track, which encourages listeners to keep pushing through challenges, resonates with many and continues to trend across Malawi’s music platforms at it has more than 100 thousands views on YouTube just after 14 days.
