United Democratic Front (UDF) President Atupele Muluzi has said the party is not in talks with any political party over a possible alliance ahead of the 2025 polls.
Muluzi said this in Blantyre during the official opening of an orientation program for the newly elected Central Executive Committee (NEC) members.
In his address Muluzi said the executive member will be informed if any political party comes forward over the matter.
“Ignore whatever is being said out there because as a party we are not in talks with any political party for a possible alliance, once that happens you will be informed accordingly,” said Muluzi.
Muluzi has since warned UDF to officials to discharge their duties with dedication, saying failure to do so he will not hesitate but to fire the said person.
