Information reaching this publication indicates that renowned lawyer and legal scholar Ngeyi Kanyongolo has died at Mwaiwathu Private Hospital in Blantyre.
A close relative, Henry Kanyongolo, has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.
She was wife to retired University of Malawi Associate Professor of law Edge Kanyongolo.
Early this year, Associate Professor Ngeyi Kanyongolo was appointed as the Third Vice Chancellor of the Catholic University of Malawi.
