After taking a pause from the music scene, renowned Malawian hip-hop artist Mwiza Chavura, popularly known as Chavura, has made a comeback.
Chavura, who was previously a member of the Blantyre-based ‘Trap Squad’ crew, stepped away from music following the release of his controversial song ‘Ndizakupanga Rape’, which sparked significant public backlash and led him to take a break from the industry.
Now, Chavura is re-emerging with a fresh collection of tracks titled ‘Smooth Nyambaro Music Volume 1’.
The compilation includes five powerful hip-hop songs that highlight his lyrical prowess and versatility.
This project marks a fresh chapter for Chavura, who has also ventured into the taxi business during his time away from the music industry.
“Smooth Nyambaro Music Volume 1” was officially released on October 29, 2024, and is available for streaming and download on Malawi-music.com, inviting fans and newcomers alike to experience Chavura’s latest work.
With this comeback, Chavura aims to reconnect with his audience and re-establish his presence in Malawi’s vibrant hip-hop scene.
