The High Court in Lilongwe is  set to deliver its sentence today to Annie Mumba, who was found guilty of murdering her husband, Professor Peter Mumba, in 2020.

Professor Mumba, a respected chemistry lecturer at the Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources, was tragically killed in an incident that shocked the community.

The sentencing is anticipated to bring closure to a high-profile case that has drawn significant public attention.
