The United Transformation Movement (UTM) has organized a dinner and dance aimed at source funds ahead of the elective conference slated for November 17, 2024.
The dinner and dance is scheduled for November 9, 2024 at Mount Soche Hotel in Blantyre, according to a statement made available to this publication.
According to the statement, standards tickets are going at MK100,000 while VIP tickets are going MK250,000.00.
The VVIP tickets are going at MK500,000.
UTM is currently preparing for the elective conference where six people have expressed interest to contest on the post of President and these are UTM Secretary General Patricia Kaliati, UTM Youth Director Penjani Kalua, former Energy Minister Newton Kambala, former Reserve Bank of Malawi Governor Dalitso Kabambe ,engineer Dr. Mathews Mtumbuka and State Vice President Dr. Michael Usi.
The six candidates will part-ways with money amounting to MK20 million each.
