An unidentified man, estimated to be around 35-37 years old, died on November 6 following a road accident in Salima. The accident occurred at Mtonga Village along the Lilongwe-Salima road when a Mitsubishi Canter Lorry struck the cyclist.

He sustained severe head injuries and later succumbed to them while receiving treatment at Salima District Hospital.

Salima Police spokesperson, Rabecca Ndiwate, is urging anyone with missing relatives to come forward to help identify the deceased. The man is described as slim and brown-skinned, and he was wearing a grey t-shirt, black trousers, and white sports shoes at the time of the accident.

His body is being held at Salima District Hospital.
