Chikwawa District Commissioner, Nardin Kamba, has instructed council officials to return all government property currently kept in their private homes.

The directive, which includes vehicles such as cars and motorcycles, follows a complaint raised by local councilors.

The councilors expressed concern that the government property is not being utilized for its intended purpose, but instead is being used privately by some council workers.

In response to these complaints, Mr. Kamba emphasized that the property should be returned immediately to ensure it is properly used for public service and safeguarded for future government use.
