Information reaching this publication indicates that Malawi Energy Regulatory Authority (MERA) has invited Centre for Democracy and Economic Development Initiatives (CDEDI) executive director Sylvester Namiwa for a discussion on the current fuel crisis.
The meeting follows an earlier announcement by CDEDI officials that they will hold demonstrations this Thursday in Lilongwe on the scarcity of the commodity.
According to the statement, the two parties are expected to meet this afternoon.
