Former president Peter Mutharika, who is also Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) leader, will tomorrow conduct whistle-stop tours in Mwanza West and Central Constituencies, respectively.

Mutharika’s spokesperson Shadric Namalomba, who is also the DPP publicist, has made the announcement in a statement made available to the press.

Namalomba has said the whistle-stop tours aim at mobilising Malawians to register in the third phase of the voter registration exercise.

The third phase of the voter registration exercise, according to Malawi Electoral Commission, targets councils of Nsanje, Chikwawa, Mwanza, M’mbelwa, Lilongwe including Lilongwe City, Mangochi and Mangochi Municipality.

The third phase commences on November 28 2024, and ends on December 11 2024.
