One of the dedicated members of the United Transformation Movement (UTM) Triphonia Grace Mandele has resigned from the party barely weeks after the elective conference.

Grace Mandele has since handed over the letter to UTM Secretary General.

“Due to personal reasons, I formally write to i inform you my cessation as a member of the United Transformation Movement (UTM) with immediate effect,” reads part of the letter.

Effort to talk to UTM spokesperson Felix Njawala proved futile.

There are also rumours that former UTM Secretary General Patricia Kaliati is also considering to pull out of the UTM party.

This follows a recent audio clip where she registered her frustration over the outcome of the UTM indaba which saw former Reserve Bank of Malawi Governor Dalitso Kabambe being elected as UTM President.
