The Consumers Association of Malawi (CAMA) has reiterated its request to the government to increase the price of motor oil so that things start to improve in the country.
According to a document released by the organization through its director John Kapito, the organization is not surprised that the prices of things continue to rise as it had predicted the possibility of this following the prices it set for motor fuel.
The organization said that Malawians should expect that the prices of goods in the country will continue to rise if there is still a shortage of fuel.
The letter says that it is important for Malawians to think carefully and distinguish between sleeping and waiting at fuel stations that do not exist or that fuel will be available even if it is expensive.
