Information reaching this publication indicates that a staunch United Transformation Movement (UTM) member Milium Gwalidi has resigned from the party with immediate effect.

Gwalidi was a witness for UTM in the 2019 Presidential election case which saw the constitutional court judges nullifying the outcome of the polls.

This has been confirmed in a letter dated November 29, 2024 addressed to UTM Secretary General seen by this publication.

In the letter Gwalidi has said she was resigned from the party to concentrate on personal matters.

“I am writing to formally resign as a member of the UTM party, effective immediate. I appreciate the opportunities i have hard while serving the party and am grateful for the experience,” reads the letter in part.
