Malawian Afro-pop star Dan Lufani, popularly known as Dan Lu, has announced the release of a new song titled Ndilomweli in honor of Malawi’s President Lazarus Chakwera.

The artist made the announcement last night on his official Facebook page, unveiling the artwork for the much-anticipated track. Both the audio and video are set to drop today, December 2, 2024, at 8:00 PM.

This comes just two months after Dan Lu released his previous song Chakwera, which sparked mixed reactions among his fans. Many expressed dissatisfaction, leading to a drop in his Facebook followers from 445,000 to 405,000.

However, the tide seems to have turned as his page now boasts 456,000 followers, with Ndilomweli gaining attention even before its release. The song’s title aligns with the trending slogan “Boma Ndilomweli,” adding to the hype surrounding its release.

Fans and critics alike are eager to see how the new release will resonate with audiences.
