Former Mighty Mukuru Wanderers midfielder Yamikani Chester has officially parted ways with Mozambican giants Costa do Sol after the expiry of his two-year contract.

Chester initially signed a one-year contract with the club in 2023, and both parties later agreed to extend the deal for another season. During his time at Costa do Sol, the team secured third place in the country’s topflight league twice and reached the semifinals of the Taça cup.

Chester joined Costa do Sol alongside three other Malawian players: Richard Mbulu, Chikoti Chirwa, and Lloyd Njaliwa.
