Former United Transformation Movement (UTM) Secretary General Patricia Kaliati has come out of her cocoon and reveal that she will contest as Member of Parliament in the forthcoming 2025 General elections.

The development comes barely weeks after a trending video clip where Kaliati hinted on dumping the UTM following her miserable performance at the elective conference where she emerged last with 21 votes.

According to Kaliati, She will contest as the lawmaker in Mulanje West Constituency.

Kaliati also told the press that she will soon inform the nation about her political future with UTM which is currently being headed by Dr. Dalitso Kabambe.
