A special committee investigating the cause of the plane crash in Chikangawa Forest is set to present its findings by the end of this week.

The committee had requested a two-week extension to finalize its work. According to the committee’s chairperson, Jabbar Alide, the investigation has been concluded, and the team is now compiling its report.

The findings are expected to be submitted to the country’s president before Saturday.

The plane, carrying then-Vice President Dr. Saulos Chilima and seven others, crashed in Chikangawa on June 10 this year.
