HHI School Expels Rioting Students, Charges 75,000 for Damaged Property

Reports reaching this publication indicates that  Henry Henderson Institute (HHI) Secondary School in Blantyre has dismissed some students and told them that they will find another place to sit for the exams in response to the protests that took place in the school last month.

According to the Secretary of the Synod of Blantyre, Mr. Anderson Jum, the school will be reopened and he will tell all the children to pay 75,000 each to repair the property that was damaged.

Meanwhile, Eeducation expert Wesily Mwambakulu has said that the rioting students should not be allowed to study in any school in the country.
