Malawian female reggae-dancehall artist Sangie has sparked buzz on social media after delivering a sharp response to a fan who questioned her marriage plans.
The fan, identified as Shadreck Chidothi, commented on Sangie’s TikTok video, asking, “Sangie, when are you getting married? Or is it still the same story?”
In a bold reply, the 29 year-old artist fired back, saying, “Do your speakers belong to me?”, a response implying that marriage is not currently on her agenda.
Another fan, identified as Humphrey, asked, “Where is your Nyash, Sangie?” to which she replied sarcastically, “It has already gone to marriage.”
Sangie, who cma into limelight in 2014 with her hit single “I Do It for Love” and later collaborated with Malinga Mafia on “I Love You” in 2015, has often been the subject of public curiosity about her personal life.
The two were seen together inseparable like sibling and people started spreading rumors that they were in romantic relationship not just music friends. However, the rumors fizzled out when Malinga was spotted with another woman.
