Police in Mzimba are hunting for a man in his late 20s for allegedly stabbing a colleague on a stomach on December 25, 2024 at Kamwe Trading Centre in Mzimba North for unknown reasons.

Police officials have confirmed of the development and identified the suspect as Maxwell Themba Jnr Banda.

According to the statement, the suspect stabbed Nombilinga Banda after the two picked a quarrel for unknown reasons.

The victim is currently in a stable condition after being treated at Rumphi District Hospital where he was rushed after the incident.
