The British Forensic auditors have again defended their move not to release names of those implicated in the looting of public at Capitol Hill.

Baker Tilly reps say they have discovered that those implicated in their report were just conduits and that there were big names involved.

The auditors have come under pressure from the public, opposition politicians and civic society leaders for not releasing the names.

However, in a written response to the Auditor General, the auditors say releasing the names will jeopardize catching what they called the big fish.

Over 13 billion Kwacha of tax payers’ money was plundered at the seat of government in Lilongwe by some civil servants, Politicians and businesspersons.

At least 68 individuals were arrested are answering various charges in court.
