The two football power house in the country (Big Bullets and Mighty Wanderers)  have received a morale boost  of K2m donation from Adventist Relief Agency (ADRA) Malawi a head of their preparation of Super League season Which is expected to kick-off  on the 19 of this Month.

The renown comedian  Michael Usi who is the country director for ADRA Malawi made the donation to the two teams  who are currently running without sponsorship in Blantyre.

“I looked at the proposal and after I considered their financial stand I approached ADRA and other donors to come in and support.

“ADRA responded first and I’m hoping we will get more support from other corporate partners,” he said

 He also said it is disappointing to see the two teams struggling financially while they have huge clouds of followers.

After the receiving  the donation , officials from the two teams  said the donation was timely as the teams were preparing for the new season.

Bullets FC  was represented  by the newly appointed Chairman Kondi Msungama while their counterpart, Mighty Wanderers was represented by George Chamangwana.

Usi presented the Cheques worth K1M to each team .
