Tisintha Alliance has disclosed that the party will be unveiling its next running mate in two weeks to come before Malawi Electoral Commission(MEC) start printing of ballot papers for presidential candidate in the forthcoming tripartite election.
The development comes barely two days after the running mate to George Nnesa who is going to represent Tisintha Alliance Mr Sylvester Chabuka resigned saying the Alliance has failed to meet his expectation.
This is the first time in the constitution of Malawi as section 52 of the Election Act is silent on the issue.
Meanwhile Malawi Electoral Commission spokesperson, Sangwani Mwafulirwa was mum on the issue.
