Malawi under-20 football team on Friday outclassed Botswana on their backyard to secure a place in the next round of CAF Junior Championship.
The Junior Flames beat Botswana 2-0 in the return match.
The first leg which was played in Malawi at Kamuzu Stadium a week ago ended 1-1 favouring the visiting team with away goal rule.
In his speech, Flames coach said: “It’s wonderful that we have won. It was not easy but we are through.
“These lads have potential. We need support to develop them into great stars”.
Meanwhile the Junior Flames is expected to meet DRC in the next round.
