Days after losing her only elected at a convention Vice President for her Peoples’ Party (PP) to rivals Democratic Progressive Party (DPP), President Banda should expect another shock as reports indicate.

According to the reports that FaceofMalawi is yet to independently verify but have been leaked by a trusted source, the party’s Vice President for the Center, Uladi Mussa, has been in secret talks with an opposition party and is contemplating a move.

The reports indicate that Mussa is apprehensive of the fact that the PP leader might not reclaim her seat and is therefore doing his best to position himself with a power of influence.

The source could however not disclose the party that has been in secret discussion with Mussa who has all along been known to be a man with an unguarded tongue and for that has earned himself love from President Banda such that despite a security lapse he has always been maintained as a minister of home affairs.

Along with Mussa, it has been indicated that the party in question has also been secretly meeting with the former Vice President for the South in the Peoples’ Party, Sidik Mia, who left the party earlier this year and announced that he was quitting politics for a time.
