If it is a propaganda then the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) has taken it a step higher but if it is the truth then the opposition Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) is ripping its rival, the ruling Peoples’ Party (PP) into pieces.

A source within the corridors of the DPP has indicated that some cabinet ministers are knocking on its doors to join the party with a few days left to the elections.

“There is a queue of cabinet ministers in the current regime who have lined up wanting to pledge allegiance to the DPP and return back home,” said the source.

Asked which cabinet ministers the source hinted that Henry Phoya who is land minister, Annita Kalinde, John Bande and Sam Ganda were some of the people who had expressed interest to join the party.

“There also is Ken Lipenga on that list,” the source boasted.

When asked when they would welcome them, the source hinted that as a party they were contemplating on whether to take some of them back looking at the way they left the party.

He, however, was quick to add that most of those defecting to the party will be welcomed on Thursday and Friday just before the closure of the campaign period.
