As vote counting  is still in progress, three out of 12 Presidential torchbearers in the just recent held tripartite election have conceded defeat.

The three are; Helen Singh of United Independent Party (UIP), George Nnesa of Tisintha Alliance and Professor John Chisi of Umodzi Party.

Speaking in separate interview, Singh said she doubt the credibility of the election due to various irregularities that marred the election before and during the poling day.

She further attributed her defeat to rigging of the election.

On his part, Tisintha Alliance President attributed the defeat to the sickness, saying this affected him greatly as he had no time to move around and conduct campaign.

Meanwhile Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) has not yet started announcing the result creating panic among Malawians.
