Police in Dowa are looking for a hit and run driver who killed a pedestrian when he was crossing the M5 road.
Dowa Police Publicist Richard Kaponda said the incident occurred along Lilongwe-Salima road at Maweru Trading Centre in the district.
Kaponda identified the deceased as Charles Martin from Mbota Village in the area of Traditional Authority Chiwere.
Police said if the suspect is found he will answer charges of causing death by reckless driving and not reporting to the police.
