Commotion erupted at district Commissioner’s office in Nsanje on Tuesday morning as angry Villagers who are believed to be relatives of acting traditional authority Chimombo stormed the DC’s office demanding immediate installation of Mr. Harrison Chimombo as chief.
The people alleged government was planning to reinstall Mr. Tukula who was suspended as TA Chimombo earlier this year through the back door.
Mr. Chimombo was made acting chief earlier this year after Mr. Tukula was suspended as TA after a string of accusations were leveled at him by the community including allegations that he used to snatch people’s wives and land at will.
